HYGGE AT THE HARBOR - Visual Identity for Kulturhavn 2022
Kulturhavn offers Copenhagen locals and tourists an opportunity to celebrate the city and the features that make it Copenhagen. My goal was to ensure the event’s image aligned with this.
I did so by: 1) creating a cohesive, recognizable look that represents the increasingly successful “Danish style,” 2) making the campaign accessible using diverse languages in the advertising, 3) teaming up with local businesses and organizations to promote them and secure more publicity, 4) showing a clear affiliation to the City of Copenhagen (using city font, KBH, and city logo), and 5) creating the phrase, “Hygge at the Harbor,” which can be understood by many and which puts the harbor, as well as Danish culture, at the forefront of the event.
